Special Features

Material Option 1; Western Red or Yellow Cedar:

A light, yet stable, timber to ensure a smooth roll every time (can be colour matched – contact us).
Slats are a solid 45x20mm for premium security.
Stainless steel straps running through the centre of the slats provide security and strength.
Supplied fine sanded, ready to lacquer.

Please note: due to Western Red Cedar being a natural product, there may be some variation in the colour of the slats. We colour grade to ensure minimal variation, but there may be some darker patches or colour variation through the door.

Yellow Cedar is much more consistent colour, and is the option that we would recommend.

Material Option 2: Silver Anodized Aluminium: 

Interlocking Silver Anodized Aluminium slats. (powder coating not available)

Slats are55x18mm for premium security.

Locking Options: We supply a pair of socket bolts to be fitted on the inside of the roller door opening – this is the easiest and most economical way to secure the opening, and is generally enough for most situations. 

If required, we can install a key lock inside the hand rail. However, this is more costly, and will take longer to manufacture.

Maximum Sizes: Large spans of up to 3 meters wide can easily be covered, with removable centre mullions  available when required for wider openings.

Headcase Size: The headcase is 300x300mm for an opening size up to 1500mm high; 350x350mm over 1500mm high.

Installation: The Sage Commercial Roller Doors are supplied pre-tensioned in an MDF headcase to make installation as simple as possible.
