Beaded Decorative Panels: Made in the same style as our roller doors, with solid timber or MDF slats on a fabric. We can make it in any solid timber, but we recommend either Pine or American White Oak.
By using a fabric backing, the product is easy to apply, and can be wrapped around super right radii in your design. Internal curves are possible, but would require a larger radius (200mm minimum).
Note: due to the natural colour variation in timber, some species of timber can have a lot more colour variation between slats. We recommend pine or oak, and staining to the required colour where possible to avoid excessive colour variation.
This style of beaded panels are only available in timber/MDF and are not available in a melamine slat, the square melamine slats would show the MDF on the edge. Therefore, we would recommend lacquering MDF slats if you wish to have a solid colour.
The timber slats are 5x20mm, with a 3mm radius on each side.
Optidoor Flexipanel: Available in most of our Optidoor linear profiles, to ensure a consistency through your 18mm doors and into your curves.
Supplied as a raw product, this will need to be lacquered after fitting to the curve.
We would recommend a 200mm radius or larger, for best results. Note, some scallop profiles may show a small rib in the middle of the scallop due the the physical nature of bending the profile. This can be avoided by choosing a beaded profile, or increasing the radius.
Refer to the Optidoor page profiles tab to see all of the profiles available.
Opticoat Flexipanel: Similar to the Optidoor options, the Opticoat Flexipanel is available in linear profiles, to ensure a consistency through your 18mm doors and into your curves.
Supplied as a coated product for easy installation. If required, we can supply with a the ends of the panel wrapped with 100mm return, for seamless installation. Contact us when ordering to sort this & advise what measurements of the panel will need to be flexible.

NOTE: It is important to use PVA glue for applying the panels. DO NOT USE a solvent-based glue as this will cause the vinyl to delaminate!
Installation: All flexible panel options should be installed on a solid backing to ensure no movement in the finished product, which could lead to cracking over time.
