Special Features
Designed with a modern lifestyle in mind, Sage Doors Single Sided RollerDoors are designed to be used in many different situations.
The Uses: RollerDoors have so many uses – within a kitchen (coffee nook, crockery cupboard, pantry/scullery, appliance garage), throughout the rest of your home (laundry spaces, study nooks, hallway storage) and outside the home (retail fitouts, offices, hospitals, boats).
RollerDoors are a space-saving door solution that can provide solutions in so many spaces!
The Sizes: RollerDoors can be made in any size up to about 2m x 2m, so they can be small (for your kettle & toaster) or big (for your entire pantry or laundry space).
Each door is carefully custom made to order, so get in touch if you need something larger and we’ll work with you to find a solution.
The Motors: Normally RollerDoors are tensioned with a spring to make them easy to lift. However, if you wish to have it motorised, we also have this option available. The motor is simply plugged into a normal power point in the cabinet (normally the top right-hand corner), and are easy to install.
The Materials: RollerDoors should blend seamlessly into their surroundings, and be a seamless part of the overall design. RollerDoors are typically made out of the same material as the rest of the kitchen or surrounding cabinetry, such as melamine, any solid timber, MDF, vinyl wrap, acrylic or anodized aluminium.
Bar Handle: The bar handle (see images) is designed to blend seamlessly in with the slats, to create a modern look with your door.
We also offer a Blank Handle that a standard cabinetry handle can be fitted to. Routed handles can be supplied on MDF or timber doors only. However, we recommend the bar handle for a modern look & easy installation.
The Microswitch: For your peace of mind and safety, we include a microswitch at no extra cost, when required. Easy to install, the microswitch ensures that power supply is disabled when the door is rolled down, eliminating the risk of appliances running while the door is down – such as your toaster catching fire.
