What Sage roller doors can be made from
We can make your Sage Single Sided Roller Door from a wide range of materials, including:
Melteca and Melamine
We stock most common colours and finishes in the Melteca, Bestwoods Melamine, and Prime Melamine ranges. Choose our bar handle option (made out of the same colour as your door) for maximum durability and to fit in with surrounding décor. Melteca and Melamine are our most popular materials, closely followed by anodized aluminium.
Anodized Aluminium
Aluminium Sage Roller Doors are made from genuine extruded aluminium which we anodize and then attach to a fabric backing. There is no plastic in our slats as plastic interlocking slats can easily break. The handle is also made from anodized aluminium. We can also supply an optional 3-piece mitred aluminium surround.
MDF - Paint Quality
This is supplied sanded, ready for you to paint. We use MDF for most doors, but can use PQ solid pine where required (for additional cost). Very large doors are usually made from pine.
Solid timber
We can make your door in any timber you choose, with the most popular timbers being Pine Clears, Colour Rimu, Heart Rimu, and American White Oak.
Veneer
We prefer to use solid timber, but can manufacture your door from any available veneer.
Vinyl wrap
Choose from any Dezignatek or Arborform vinyl wrap colours. Do allow extra time (2-3 weeks) as the materials take 1-2 weeks to reach us before we can start manufacturing your door.
Other Materials...
Unusual materials can also be used... we’ve already used solid bamboo, someone’s t-shirt, exotic timbers... your imagination is the limit!
